Getting Started
Who to Contact & What to Know
Leasing Team: You've likely spoken with the leasing team already. For any final lease questions (documents, rent, concessions, utilities, renter’s insurance), reach out to your leasing agent. For move-in day or key pickup, check with management below.
Management: Get ready! You’re about to be in great hands during your residence with us. We have an incredible management team. You’ll receive a welcome email introducing your manager—your go-to for anything non-leasing related. They’ll help with key pickup and move-in coordination. Need their contact? It can be found on whab.com simply by searching your address! .
Maintenance: We have made maintenance super easy to submit. Submit maintenance requests at whab.com/maintenance. Select your property, fill out the form, and you’re done!
Setup Essentials
Utilities & Insurance
- We ask that you make sure your electricity and gas are set up before move-in. Review your lease and welcome email for details. Send confirmation of setup to your leasing agent—this is required to receive your move-in concession.
- LIVABLE/Conservice is auto-setup for water/trash/sewer. ou’ll get your first bill by mail and email within 60 days. If not, contact your manager. Reminder, until we have a confirmation of your utility start, we cannot send your move in concession.
- Renter’s insurance is mandatory. One policy per apartment. Email your policy to your leasing agent. You can’t get your concession without it. Don’t delay—concessions expire after 30 days if not received.
Resident Portal
Documents & Payments
Access all your documents (lease, parking, concessions) at: www.appfolio.com/login
- Concession: Once your lease is signed and you’ve sent your utility and insurance confirmations, your rent credit (e.g. $1200) will be applied as a negative balance to your account. Use it upfront or over time—it’s your choice! If you'd like it spread monthly (e.g., $200/month for 6 months), ask your agent to set that up in your portal.
- Pro-rated Rent: If you moved in late in the month, you'll only owe rent for those days. Your concession may cover this if you used it upfront.
- Future Rent: After your concession is used up, regular rent resumes (e.g., $3398/month). That’s normal! Your portal may show full rent until credit runs out.
- Parking: Before move-in, you’ll sign TWO separate leases: Apartment & Parking (if applicable). You'll sign a separate parking lease (if needed) and use a second portal temporarily. After move-in, everything will merge into one resident portal. If you don’t see your parking portal ask your leasing agent right away.
Move-In Step
Condition Form
Complete and return the condition form within 24 hours of moving in. It helps document the unit’s condition to avoid future confusion. Without it, we cannot send you move in concession (if applicable)
